It's Time To Start Your Vegetable Garden
March 18, 2010

Are you a vegetable gardener? All of us can be to some extent by growing patio tomatoes or starting an herb garden for use in your homemade recipes. A good restaurant wouldn’t think of using anything but fresh herbs and you can use them as well.

Now is the time to prepare your garden for planting by adding organic matter to the soil. If you have your own compost, we have all the necessary products for safe successful gardening. If you want to start your garden this month, begin by planting peas, potatoes, onions, and also certain lettuces. Broccoli and cauliflower seeds can be planted.

March is a great time to plant fruit trees and berries too. If you have strawberries and mulched them last fall be sure to remove the mulch when new growth begins, or start a new bed of strawberries.
